  • 1.  Github for website?

Greetings! (Kelly, questions in the post)

After thinking about Kelly's suggestion of Github as a hosting site for
    our webpages, I read through:

    https://docs.github.com/en/pages/getting-started-with-github-pages/creating-a-github-pages-site

We are likely to stumble on the owner name being oasis-tcs, of which we
    are odf-tc. :-(

I will ask Kelly if we can create another github repository where odf-tc
is the root of the repository.

Then OASIS would need to use the URL for that repository when they serve
    up the page.

Not that we need a lot of version control on our webpages but it would
be a way to give us more control over them.

Hope everyone is having a great week!

    Patrick

PS: I did not have to remove the battery from my phone. The
documentation says it has an off switch. Who would have thought? People
look for chargers like their phones are dying.

    Hi Patrick:

We have very little flexibility on the appearance of information stored on Github. I've given some options and examples below.

You have two options on how to structure your repo based on your needs:
    - an internal repo for TC use only
    - an external repo where you can have some interaction with non-TC members

The first option would be a repo in the following organization: https://github.com/oasis-tcs
The second option would be a repo in this organization: https://github.com/oasis-open

Let me know if this is helpful.

    Kelly,

    Thanks!

I'm trying to avoid most websites this week so I'll try to draft up some pages and structure for the TC to review next week.

Hope you are having a great week!
