    Kelly,

Some of these issues may be unique to ODF, others maybe more common.

    Thanks!

    Patrick

    ***************************

    1) The email prefix is too long: "OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC :"

    Previously this was [office].

Can we return to the shorter lead?

    2) There are no "References" and "In-Reply-To" in these emails so threading doesn't work in standard email clients.

    3) Replies are not nested under the messages to which they are replies (in the present interface) That is there is a thread by the tree is broken, no nesting.

    4) Is email keying on subjects? Reminder that all emails have "Message-ID" in the header.

    5) Who can edit the landing page for the TC? We ask because there are numerous broken links, inactive or stale information, and better arrangement of the information that is present.

    6) Sub-Committee links all return blank communities.

    7) The archives of sub-committees, including their mailing lists, must be preserved and accessible to both the TC and the public. What are the plans for preservation of those materials?

    8) FYI: Contact the ODF Adoption TC, which we believe to be inactive as to what to do with their pages.

    9) The ODF Interop Tech Group https://groups.oasis-open.org/communities/tc-community-home2?CommunityKey=34eec64a-5a60-47a6-bdf0-018dc81a0068 is inactive, so far as we know.

    10) The addresses for public comments here need to be updated: https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/comments/index.php?wg_abbrev=office

    11) From the homepage, this is incorrect: Issues Management (JIRA) https://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/OFFICE

    12) https://docs.oasis-open.org/office/ doesn't show v1.3 - hidden under OpenDocument, needs to be consistent with the prior listing

    13) The ISO links and TC Liason links on the landing page are incorrect.

    14) All of these lists can be closed with a notice to post to the office mailing list - since you had to be a member to be on any of these sub-committees:

office-accessibilityCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Accessibility SC. office-accessibility-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Accessibility SC. office-chairRoster administration for OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC. office-collabCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Advanced Document Collaboration SC. office-collab-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Advanced Document Collaboration SC. office-editorsCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Editors SC. office-editors-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Editors SC. office-formulaCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Formula SC. office-formula-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Formula SC. office-metadataCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Metadata SC. office-metadata-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Metadata SC. office-requirementsCommittee work for OASIS OpenDocument - Requirements SC. office-requirements-chairRoster administration for OASIS OpenDocument - Requirements SC.

    # I'm not even sure what chairRoster must mean

    15) Attendance - As mentioned earlier, I can get reports but have no way of entering attendance data.

    16) Not mentioned by the TC but can a links to the TC process (perhaps a visual of the process?) and to the TC admin be added to the member home? I'm forever looking for forms, rules, etc. and they were hard to find under the old system, I don't see them at all in the present one. (Yes, there is a link at the bottom of the page but I would like something broken out and labeled at the top of the page.)

As the TC gains experience with the new interface I'm sure there will be other comments and requests.

I'll try to bundle them up in weekly posts for easy tracking.

    Thanks!

    Patrick

    Hi Patrick:

Thanks so much for consolidating these into one email.

With Scott OOO, I am a one-person team working through migration related issues so it might take me some time to resolve all 16 topics.

If you could be so kind as to point out your top issues on this list, I can try to prioritize them so we get you what matters most.

    Thanks again,
    Kelly

    Kelly,

    Understood.

    How does this look?

I - Email header issues, II Attendance for meetings, III Interface issues, IV Landing page issues (we can fix if we can edit), V. Various issues that don't directly impact TC operation.??

I know today will be a day to remember, but hopefully not for very long!??

Be of good cheer, you will make it COB and have a soothing evening before returning to the fire tomorrow!??

    Patrick??

    I. The current transmission of messages has broken all standard email clients, which rely upon standard email headers for both basic and advanced processing. For example:

    1) The email prefix is too long: "OASIS Open Document Format for Office Applications (OpenDocument) TC :"

    Previously this was [office].

Can we return to the shorter lead?

    2) There are no "References" and "In-Reply-To" in these emails so threading doesn't work in standard email clients.

    4) Is email keying on subjects? Reminder that all emails have "Message-ID" in the header.

Please transmit standard email headers to fix this problem.

II. Attendance for TC meetings comes in as a close second, since attendance is a requirement for voting, etc.

    15) Attendance - As mentioned earlier, I can get reports but have no way of entering attendance data.

    III. Interface issues

    3) Replies are not nested under the messages to which they are replies (in the present interface) That is there is a thread by the tree is broken, no nesting.

    12) https://docs.oasis-open.org/office/ doesn't show v1.3 - hidden under OpenDocument, needs to be consistent with the prior listing

IV. If we can edit the TC landing page, assuming we have the correct email list addresses, we can fix:

    5) Who can edit the landing page for the TC? We ask because there are numerous broken links, inactive or stale information, and better arrangement of the information that is present.

IV. If we can edit the TC landing page, assuming we have the correct email list addresses, we can fix:

    5) Who can edit the landing page for the TC? We ask because there are numerous broken links, inactive or stale information, and better arrangement of the information that is present.

    6) Sub-Committee links all return blank communities.

    13) The ISO links and TC Liason links on the landing page are incorrect.

    V. Various

    Hi Patrick:

Thanks so much for consolidating these??into one email.??

With Scott OOO, I am a one-person team working through migration related issues so it might take me some time to resolve all 16 topics.

If you could be so kind as to point out your top issues on this list, I can try to prioritize them so we get you what matters most.??

    Thanks again,
    Kelly??

    Kelly,

Some of these issues may be unique to ODF, others maybe more common.

    Thanks!

    # I'm not even sure what chairRoster must mean

    15) Attendance - As mentioned earlier, I can get reports but have no way of entering attendance data.

As the TC gains experience with the new interface I'm sure there will be other comments and requests.

I'll try to bundle them up in weekly posts for easy tracking.

    Thanks!
