Hello TC Members,
Following Stefan's example I created an information model branch on the TC repo: "contributed-dpkemp-information-model" and have been experimenting with support for a DPS IM. It currently has a summary description of information models, what they do, and the motivation for using them (higher-level than JSON/YAML schemas).
Also included is some Python code for processing IM schemas for anyone interested in working with the spec. This will always remain a contribution (a working aid), not a TC work product. Also included are a couple of examples of ISO-3166 country data, to show what geographic info is already standardized.
Because this PR https://github.com/oasis-tcs/dps/pull/68 is for the contributions area it doesn't require lazy (or voting) consensus to merge into the main branch, but questions or suggestions are always welcome to improve its usefulness.
