    DPS TC members,

    This is a friendly reminder that our next meeting will be on Tuesday, May 6, at 10:00 AM EDT. If you have not already done so, please indicate your attendance status in advance and RSVP for the Meeting. To save time, we will avoid a roll call.

    Ahead of our call, here are a few updates and reminders:

    1. April 22 meeting minutes approved
      The minutes from our April 22 meeting have been adopted via lazy consensus.
    2. Motions Under Consideration (via Email, Lazy Consensus by May 4)
      • PR #8 (Work product directories): Motion to approve, pending no objections by May 4, 1 PM EDT.
      • PR #9 (FAQ directory): Motion to approve, pending no objections by May 4, 2 PM EDT. Recap o f context: A well-developed FAQ can clarify how our metadata spec complements other efforts outlined in our charter. It also sets us up for more effective public review of the spec by addressing anticipated "how does this relate to X" questions. The current PR is just for establishing the directory; individual FAQs will be proposed and discussed separately.

    May 6 agenda

    1. Discussion: Use case deliverable – standards track or informative?
    2. Review of work product structure, editorial/contributor volunteers, and assignments
    3. Provenance model and schema baseline
    4. Wrap-up and next steps

    Pre-read
    Please review the current metadata schema before the meeting and come prepared with questions or discussion points.

    May I ask that "Adding Information Modeling to Metadata spec" be added as an agenda topic (as discussed at last meeting, and via email thread). For read ahead, please read the email threads and the referenced docs. It maybe could be argued it's under agenda item 3 but I assumed that meant the D&TA submitted json/xml.

    Yeap, I definitely had it in mind; I really liked the initial suggestion/proposal. So, we will definitely discuss it! I think this would be as part of "3. Provenance model and schema baseline" in the shared agenda. (But I guess we can be more explicit, if required.)
