      • proposal was to incorporate the will packets into connect, and remove the will update feature
    • Requirements on the underlying network transport: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/MQTT-604 (Andy)
      • they are different to the TCP characteristics relied on by MQTT
  • Issue 560, error codes. The MQTT 5 reason code shared doc has been tabulated, need to review each
