The SCA Policy TC sent the 1.1 spec for a 15-day public review several months ago. Earlier this month we heard that there was an incorrect <include> statement in the XSD. This has been corrected and the TC will vote on the revised spec on Nov 28. Sanjay, SCA Assembly Model V1.1 specification & Test Suite are both complete, having completed their final public reviews and not requiring any further work. 2 Implementations are accepted as conforming with the specification - Apache Tuscany & Fabric3. Sanjay, For the bindings TC: Web service binding specification and test suite have CSDs and completed PRs with no outstanding issues/comments JMS binding specification and test suite have CSDs and completed PRs with no outstanding issues/comments JCA and HTTP binding work has been deferred indefinitely. The Web Servics and JMS specifications have one accepted implementation (Tuscany), we need one further implementation which meets the exit criteria for each specification. Until the bindings TC receives a submission for an implementation for the exit criteria there is no business to be conducted. The C++ and C deliverables are content complete and have been for some time. While Siemens has a C++ SCA implementation, it is not compliant with the spec (it uses an alternative programming model that does not rely solely on standard C++).  There is no known work on potentially compliant C++ or C implementations. The TC does not plan any further work unless we hear of potentially compliant implementations. Bryan Aupperle.
