    OASIS members and other interested parties,  The OASIS Emergency Management TC [1] members have recently approved a Committee Specification Draft (CSD) and submitted it for 60-day public review: Emergency Data Exchange Language Situation Reporting (EDXL-SitRep) Version 1.0 Committee Specification Draft 03 / Public Review Draft 03 11 August 2015  Overview: This XML-based Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL) Situation Reporting specification describes a set of standard reports and elements that can be used for data sharing among emergency information systems, and that provide incident information for situation awareness on which incident command can base decisions.  Public Review Period: The public review starts 11 December 2015 at 00:00 UTC and ends 18 February 2015 at 23:59 UTC.  This is an open invitation to comment. OASIS solicits feedback from potential users, developers and others, whether OASIS members or not, for the sake of improving the interoperability and quality of its technical work. Reviewers may provide comments directly from the comment-tag version of document. The file edxl-sitrep-v1.0-csprd03-COMMENT-TAGS.html contains the HTML version of the draft with a “[comment?]” link next to each section heading.
