  • 1.  Additional OASIA site glitches (from Dana and the LWDITA SC)

    I asked Dana who is our rep on the lwDITA SC if she was having issues. Here is her list:
    1 - When she resets her password, it only is valid for her immediately login. It is invalid after she logs out and tries too login again.

    2 -- She has no communtiys listed under All Community Types, but if she selects Technical Committees, she sees them.
    3 -- If you download the .ics to add a meeting to your calendar, she only gets one meeting, not the entire series. (this would be important when Kris sets up our new meeting)

    4 -- As secretary of the LWDITA committee, she can't record attendance on the new site.

    Hi Dawn:

    I would suggest Dana get in touch with my colleague Irene Heller (irene.heller@oasis-open.org) to see what is happening in the backend. We've had a few situations like this recently where the system is confused about who is logging in and with what email. This is especially true for members who have switched companies during their OASIS tenure. In a few cases the system made a guess (for reasons we don't quite understand yet) and picked incorrectly. 

    Once Irene straightens out the log in issues, I can easily fix the permissions that allow for attendance tracking, calendar management, etc.
