3. Indexing review

- Robert; is a leaf indexterm can it be a primary eterm; it thought it coulnt be a primary term, only a sub-term
- Kris; we have defined leaf, we needed to define it, we do have it defined now.
- Robert; I thought it couldn't be a primary term
- Kris; I think we defined it a different way (i.e. in a way that allowed it to be a primary), but we should check it, and we should get Eliot to sign off on what we have in spec.

- Robert; just opened, content wasn't as ready for review as I thought. content was hidden down in langref, had to move into arch spec. didn't have an example of basic conref, added that. some of reaction to section might be 'could do better examples, probably correct; if you can come up with any, please do. also, dopic on keyref, pls pay attention to the rules, description of conkeyref@ was condensed into 2 sentences to cover all cases. that was a mistake. tried to extract that into separate paras, please read closely

- Kris; i wrote original Adoption TC article about conrefpush, tried to get the examples in that be real-world, so we could use those examples.
- Nancy; where is that articles?
- Kris; archived on Adoption TC page, probably google on 'conrefpush eberlein', it's findable
- Kris; pls give this a solid, careful review, I don't know when we last looked at it, probably at 1.2.?
- Robert; probably got the same [not rigorous] review as other new stuff at 1.2, and probably not much at 1.3.
- Kris; in 1.2, we put everything about these in langref, don't know how much rework Robert's been able to do.
- Robert; for topics that came in from langref, they all got redone, they tended to be pretty long topics.
- Kris; should we be looking at whether these topics should be broken down in to smaler ones?
- Robert; the really long one is conaction, because it does multiple things.
- Kris; the implementation for conrefpush is one of the ugliest, but we can't fix it and keep it working... And because we've rearranged locations of these topics, there may be some links from a reltable that are unnecessary. So do a close reading, and please think about more realistic scenarios, and whether to break down long topics. Also, I'm wondering if the conkeyref description makes sense. Robert, when shoud we aim to finish with this?
- Robert; would love next Tues, but don't know if that's doable.
- Kris; it's a solid 20 pgs of content, so we probably need 2 weeks.
- Robert; but if some folks can review it this week so we could discuss next week, that would be great.
