Looks like a few words are missing in the sentence:
> However, given the amount of changes and their implications, I think it is in the best interest of the TC to take a second look.
It should read:
> However, given the amount of changes and their implications, I think it is in the best interest of the standard (and all parties concerned) for the TC to take a second look.

Subject: Extensions
Dear colleagues,
I have worked on the extensions part last night and today. As it becomes apparent that the topic is more complex as I though and given my current time constraints, I pause the work on that pull request.
We truly appreciate your trust in the editors to implement the issue as requested and to proceed to CSD02. However, given the amount of changes and their implications, I think it is in the best interest of the TC to take a second look.
Therefore, I hereby submit the following motion and request that if seconded and no objection received per this list before one week has passed on 2025-09-04 13:00 UTC to automatically carry. The motion may earlier, if seconded by all members that currently have voting rights as recorded in OQC and none of them states the wish to wait the full time before the last member with voting right has seconded.
The Chair usually states the result per mail to this list when the period has passed.
I, Thomas Schmidt, move to not include the change (adding extensions) at this time and record in the comment resolution log this decision and mark the comment with "no change required."
This change is already suggested in https://github.com/oasis-tcs/csaf/pull/1169.
Best wishes,
Thomas
