Dear stakeholder,
We hope this message finds you well. The European Commission is currently advancing its work on the future EU eInvoicing policy. As we prepare the EU eInvoicing strategy, we are reaching out to collect the views and positions of eInvoicing stakeholders.
The strategy will aim to address key measures such as:
- Increasing the mass adoption of eInvoicing (e.g. by potential integration of electronic invoicing modules in ERP systems).
- Ensuring eInvoicing efficient transmission via interoperable infrastructures.
- Exploring new uses for eInvoicing such as leveraging eInvoicing for automated compliance in VAT reporting or Environmental, Social, and Governance reporting.
Share your views!
We invite you to share your views, position papers, or specific contributions on how the future EU eInvoicing strategy can best address adoption challenges, streamline processes, and support businesses of all sizes, including SMEs. On this line, we offer the opportunity to arrange a call, in January, with the EU officials driving this strategy to discuss your contribution further or obtain additional information.
Timeline
- The deadline for submissions of written views, position papers or specific contributions is 31 January 2025 - eInvoicing strategy foreseen for the first half of 2025.
- For a potential call, please send any requests by responding to this email before 10 January 2025.
