Greetings!
Question: How would AI generated text differ in principal from text
where spell or grammar check has revised the text?
I ask because of general discussion/concern over knowing what text is
"AI generated," versus "human authored."
As you might guess, I spent a good portion of the holidays reading and
using AI products.
Personally I don't see the difference between AI generated text versus
that polished by spell or grammar check. It's not my work and there's
little reason to pretend otherwise. Oh, I can spell correctly but only
with frequent use of a dictionary. Which slows me down.
We don't have to make a formal issue to be resolved but I thought we
should at least have an organized discussion of why we don't have a
mechanism to identify AI generated content in ODF documents.
Hope to push an agenda out tomorrow, late my time, so contributions are
