We can't see the symbol definitions but here are one set of ISO
definitions for DFT and FFT.
I'll have more later this week but apparently although the equations are
well known, they are further defined for particular application domains.
That is beyond the stark equation, there is no "standard" use of it.
Depends on the domain although there are some general characteristics.
