  • 1.  ISO on DFT and FFT

    Posted 09-15-2025 20:31
    Greetings!

We can't see the symbol definitions but here are one set of ISO
    definitions for DFT and FFT.

I'll have more later this week but apparently although the equations are
well known, they are further defined for particular application domains.
That is beyond the stark equation, there is no "standard" use of it.
Depends on the domain although there are some general characteristics.

    See: https://www.iso.org/obp/ui/en/#iso:std:iso:18431:-2:ed-1:v1:en

We should be able to work backwards from a standard definition to this
formula. FFT is given by easier to access bibliographic references.

Hope everyone is having a great week!
