GitHub “cc” to List update status
    Bill:
Oasis has cleaned the mailing list archive of all extraneous email.

    III. Issues
    Follow-up from last meeting

    Steven:
I made a number of changes I flagged in last meeting. If we all agree on the changes to
    Issue #2 we can close.

[ there was general agreement ]

    Combining/Merging parameters
    https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xacml-spec/issues/14
    Steven:
I will submit a proposal processing combining parameters as a list without existing
wrappers. I will update the existing issue with the change to the XML schema and
    verbiage for review.

    Version Type Pattern (#41)
    https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xacml-spec/issues/41

    Cyril:
It appears that this issue has been resolved. Is that correct?

[ there was general agreement ]

    XACML Standard naming (#35)
    https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xacml-spec/issues/35

    Cyril:
What is the process for this?

    Bill:
My current understanding is that we can put forth whichever names we are considering
to gather input from the broader community.

    Hal:
How do we think is the best way to do that?

    Steven:
I suggest the TC list first, then TC Comment list and reach out other security related
groups that we have worked with.

    Cyril:
I will update the issue on github to capture the proposals.

    Hal:
I suggest we develop text to provide context for the changes that we post with the
    candidate names.

    Bill:
Hal, would you mind taking point on the "context" text? Steven opened the issues with
    some good background.

    Agnostic Schema Languages

    Cyril:
I am still working on the UML model for autogeneration of agnostic schemas. There as
some things are very XML specific data constructs that I have yet to work through. I

    Section Numbering (#40)
    https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xacml-spec/issues/40

    Cyril:
In github there is no way to do automatic numbering. We have to figure out a workaround
    or consider keeping it manual.

    Hal:
I would be make this a lower priority since this can also introduce spurious numbers.

    Cyril:
Yes, it is something to consider against trying to assist with sections that are quite
    deep.

    meeting adjourned.

    Next meeting in 4 weeks.
