    I, Duncan Sparrell representing sFractal Consulting (ie not as editor), move that PR #26 (faq on CoSAI) be approved, and request that if seconded via this list, and no objections received via this list within one week (ie by 4-Jun-2025 5pm Eastern), that the motion automatically carry and the maintainers may merge the PR at their convenience.

    Hi folks,
    I support the FAQ on related work that's happening elsewhere.
    In addition to obvious CoSAI and OSIM (and "others" placeholder) I would suggest to add those to the FAQ explicitly from the very beginning, to make the clear positioning:
    - Open Trusted Data Initiative
    - Data Provenance Initiative by MIT
    - The Coalition for Content Provenance and Authenticity (C2PA)
    I may have more suggestions for "others", but those are that I hear the most frequent questions about.

    Do you want me to make PRs similar to what Duncan did?

    I agree that including these initiatives in the FAQ from the start will help clarify our positioning.

     

    Yes, if you're up for it, I think submitting the individual PRs would be super helpful. That way we can start incorporating your suggestions directly and iterate from there.
