    Please read the attached paper, Implementing Augmentations in NIEM 6.  BLUF: I think we don't need attribute wildcards in structures.xsd after all.  There is another idea at the end that is too crazy for this BLUF😊.  I would love feedback by phone or email, but can wait until the Tuesday call.

    There's a lot there that's beyond my XML-foo but I'm led to wonder: is all of this augmentation capability actually being used in NIEM? Or are they going to a lot of work for something that's a really minor edge case?
