    Hi all, I've chatted with my co-chair Jay about how best to proceed without Duncan's secretarial help. 

    We're going to need a little while longer for Jay to juggle and re-examine some competing commitments and then we'll have more clarity. And if anyone in the OSIM community has interest in stepping into Duncan's shoes, please holler.

    In the meantime, Jay and I suggest we skip the August 5th meeting.

    Last week Duncan resigned as secretary of OSIM. I'm sad to see him go.

    I was planning on dialing in today and letting you all know - including that I'm right now unprepared to take over as interim secretary, and that we should defer today's meeting while we gather things into shape.

    As it happens I'm unable to even start the meeting today... so:
    • Let's cancel today's meeting
    • Let's regather on August 5th
    • I'll work with Jay in the interim to figure out how best we proceed
