This is a friendly reminder that the deadline for CSAF TC Sponsor members to submit quotes for the upcoming press release is next Monday, 19 May.
Sponsor members (Cisco, Cryptsoft, Cyware, Huawei, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, and US NIST, plus any others who join/upgrade to Sponsor by the deadline) are encouraged to participate. If you haven't submitted a Sponsor quote for the release but intend to, please let me know.
We anticipate receiving quotes from TC leadership Justin Murphy of DHS/CISA and Stefan Hagen. Please note that Dell Technologies has been removed from this release due to a scheduling conflict with their Dell Technologies World annual conference and will not be referenced in the announcement.

Dear CSAF TC Members:
OASIS has prepared a press release announcing CSAF v2.0 as the international standard ISO/IEC 20153:2025. The press release can be viewed [

Tuesday, 20 May for publication. Please note: the TC leadership has determined that moving forward with the press release now is the best course of action rather than waiting for JTC 1's decision on removing the paywall to the standard, which could take an unpredictable amount of time.
We invite the TC's Sponsor members - Cisco, Cryptsoft, Cyware, Dell Technologies, Huawei, Microsoft, Oracle, Red Hat, and US NIST - to contribute quotes for the press release. Here are a few important points:
Submitting a Quote
- If your organization is a TC Sponsor listed above, you are welcome to submit a quote (maximum 75 words).
- Please email your quote to me and include the name and title of the person to whom the quote can be attributed.
- The deadline for quote submissions is: Monday, 19 May 2025.
- If you represent one of the Sponsor organizations listed above, and you *do not* wish to be included in the press release, please notify me ASAP.
Opportunities for Contributor-Level Members:
- While OASIS appreciates the contributions of all members, only Foundational, Premier, and Sponsor members elect to receive promotional benefits, including the opportunity to contribute quotes for press announcements.
- If you represent a Contributor-level member and wish to gain greater recognition for your involvement in the CSAF TC's work, consider upgrading to Sponsor-level to receive enhanced recognition, including opportunities for inclusion in future press releases and other promotional benefits. The dues increase would be prorated based on your renewal date.
