Hi,
I skimmed over the charter draft of the OEMF TC.
TL;DR;
I suggest to drop any specifc calendar goals for
publication of delivery items in charter.
Details of reasoning:
Esp. the combination of the four following statements
across the charter draft as example in combination clearly
support the stripping of these dates:
a) in 1.e. Deliverables
| 1. Publish the first edition [...] (December 2025)
| 2. Publish a set of capability [...] (February 2026)
| 3. Map the defined capability [...] (February 2026)
b) in 2.b. First TC Meeting
| The first OEMF TC meeting [...] around October 30, 2025
c) in 2.c. Ongoing Meeting Schedule
| Virtual meetings are expected to be bi-monthly during
| the start up phase of the project and will likely
| transition to monthly.
d) in 2.g. Anticipated Contributions
| [...] there are no preexisting repositories or open
| source projects to donate.
So there will be the inaugural meeting end of October
with no content contributions.
Next meeting will be end of December (I guess not)
let it be early mid December 2025.
When should delivery item a.1 be made and progressed?
Next up are two delivery items planned for February 2026
with maybe only one other TC meeting before?
Thanks.
Cheers,
Stefan.
