Jane Harnad sent out the email below in December, unfortunately we had pretty much completed our meeting schedule for the year and I know I was swamped with end of year activities and promptly forgot about this, now that we have started preparing for our next meeting Judy Furlong has reminded me of this and we are plannignto add this to the agenda for this week's meeting. I just thought you may want to see the background before we started discussing it.

Dear OASIS TC Chairs,
As we close out 2024, we're starting to plan marketing and event activities for 2025 to enhance visibility for all our TCs. I've compiled a [list of industry events [docs.google.com]] that may be relevant to your TC. Please review and flag any events of interest or suggest others to include. If you'd like, I can circulate the list to your TC directly.
Event Opportunities to Consider:
- Interops: Demonstrations, showcases, or plugfests, such as the OCA CASP group's planned workshop in April -- the 'Cybersecurity Automation Workshop'.
- Pre-OS Webinars: Explaining your specification basics to other OASIS members, boosting approval thresholds, and reaching a higher OS vote total.
- Post-OS Marketing Blitz: We can collaborate on press releases, blogs, webinars, or events to promote newly approved standards.
- Presentations, Panel Sessions, Workshops: Let us know about your planned speaking engagements, so we can help amplify via social media. We can also provide support with securing additional engagements (if requested).
We encourage early planning to align efforts and maximize collaboration across TCs. I'm happy to join a TC call to discuss ideas and coordination further. Thank you for your continued support-we look forward to working with you in 2025!
