  • 1.  Proposal to approve PR 38 on Information Model Definition

    Posted 09-21-2024 14:06

To starting getting black  on while (ie actual text), I am proposing a series of additions to the FAQs. To make it easier administratively, I have made each Q&A proposal a separate file in the FAQ directory, each with a separate Pull Request to allow independent threads for discussion. Some are pulled directly from previous work and hopefully will easily pass. Some may be more controversial but I have tries to come up with text satisfying our SBOM/SBOM+ discussions. This is the first (and hopefully one of the non-controversial ones) of several PR proposals. They are just to jumpstart the process so if you are not comfortable with any of the PR's, feel free to propose modifications, object, discuss, etc. Any of the motions that pass, we will merge on GitHub. Any that cause disagreements, we can discuss at next week's meeting.

I, Duncan Sparrell, move that PR #38 (an FAQ Q&A defining Information Model) be approved, and request that if seconded via this list, and no objections received via this list within one week (ie by 28-Sep-2024 3 PM Eastern) , that the motion automatically carry and the maintainers may merge the PRs at their convenience.
