OASIS Common Security Advisory Framework (CSAF) TC

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce the upcoming in-person CSAF Workshops (preceding 2025 CSAF Community Days) taking place from November 10 - 12, 2025, in Nuremberg, Germany!

Workshop Overview: The CSAF Workshops provide a focused, hands-on opportunity to dive deep into the technical aspects of the CSAF standard. Participants will engage in practical exercises, gaining familiarity with the structured format for security advisories and learning how to implement the CSAF specification effectively. The workshops will feature how to craft machine-readable security advisories and VEX documents to ensure consistency and accuracy, introduce participants to tools that streamline the creation, validation, and distribution of CSAFs, and will involve interactive problem solving with CSAF experts to guide participants through the exercises.

• Workshop 1: CSAF Writing Boot Camp (for beginners)
• Workshop 2: The CSAF Writers' Guild - Advancing Your Experience
• Workshop 3: CSAF Distribution - From Scratch to Publication

Each workshop will be one day and will take place from 8 AM - 6 PM CET with a one hour lunch break.

We are working on updating the website from last year's workshops and will have more information for venue location and registration, etc. posted soon!
