OASIS organizational voting

Dear OASIS Members,

I've had the honor of serving on the OASIS Board of Directors for the past six years. This isn't just a governance role for me, it's a commitment to an organization I care deeply about. I believe in the mission, and I've worked hard behind the scenes to help OASIS become stronger, more resilient, and more essential to the evolving standards landscape.

Throughout this time, I've brought my experience as a founder, operator, and systems architect to support OASIS through a critical period of transition. But I want to be clear: the real strength of OASIS lies with its dedicated staff. Everything we accomplish is built by them. I have simply had the privilege of working alongside them-mentoring, listening, suggesting, and supporting as they do the hands-on work that powers this organization.

Over these years:

• I've partnered closely with staff to help evolve our financial models for long-term sustainability.

• I've supported efforts to clarify internal operations and strengthen organizational structure.

• I've advocated for a strategic focus in areas such as AI governance, critical infrastructure, and cybersecurity, ensuring that we have the tools to lead where it matters most.

(For context: I co-authored, with many, STIX/TAXII, helped shape national cyber strategy, and now lead GenLab, a venture studio building AI infrastructure and governance tools. GenLab is also a founding member of CoSAI, and proudly supports the OASIS mission across our community.)

This work is already paying off, and we discuss it daily in multiple communities across various countries worldwide. It even affects how GenLab builds, invests, and deploys across numerous verticals, and watching the effects across industries has been an incredible journey.

But we're not done.

I'm running again because OASIS is becoming something more than a standards body. We're building a platform that connects open communities, public institutions, and frontier technologists. To navigate that growth responsibly, we need a board that brings both vision and execution.

If re-elected, I will continue focusing on:

• Delivering operational clarity that scales with our ambitions

• Supporting financially sound, mission-aligned innovation

• Empowering OASIS staff and members who build the standards the world depends on
