    Dear UBL TC,

In the CEN TC WG 5 (EU e-Invoice Extensions) call, it was discussed today the requirements for sub-invoice lines of an EU e-invoice.
I am aware that both UBL and UN/CEFACT CII XML are implementing this feature in general; I would like to ensure that both formats are interoperable with the EU norm EN16931 in the future.

Please find the scenarios attached within the spreadsheet created from the Factur-X team, which they happily share with us, and were shown and discussed in the past calls in the CEN WG5 call.

Most important are two new definitions (which might still be altered in the next weeks) of a kit and a bundle:
    1. Kit
A kit is a set of components or parts that, when combined, create a single functional product. Kits are often used in manufacturing or assembly processes where individual parts are necessary to build the final product.
    2. Bundle
A bundle is a collection of individual products or services sold together at a combined price, often lower than the total price of purchasing each item separately. Bundles are typically used as marketing strategies to incentivise customers to buy more by offering a perceived value deal.
Perhaps we can briefly discuss this at our TC face-to-face meeting these days.

    Kind regards,
    Svante
