It has been a while since we last met as a full MQTT Technical Committee (TC). This allowed us to focus our resources on work at the MQTT-SN Subcommittee to evaluate developing the MQTT-SN protocol, from input specification to something the MQTT TC could take forward as an OASIS standards track.
This has been a significant piece of work, and our amazing subcommittee team have now reached a major milestone and are ready to bring their recommendations back to the wider TC.
To facilitate this, I propose scheduling a TC call for Thursday 27th November 2025 in our usual time slot of 16:00 - 17:00 GMT / 12:00 - 13:00 EST. As we have not met as a full TC for some time, we will need to complete the OASIS TC
Vitality Process. Since we rechartered with the aim of progressing MQTT-SN as an OASIS standard, I propose we do this with the aim of continuing with the current charter.
I will work with the TC Administrators over the next few days and provide an update on any procedural requirements for the call.
