  • 1.  [Action Required] Review and Approve April 22 Meeting Minutes by April 29

    Posted 04-23-2025 20:58

    Hi all,

The draft meeting minutes from our April 22, 2025, TC meeting have been posted in the GitHub repository.

Please review and submit any comments or suggested edits directly in the pull request by April 29, 2025.

Following the OASIS Open process and using lazy consensus, if no objections are raised by that date, the minutes will be considered approved.

    Thank you,

    Kristina

I propose some changes and have implemented them as a PR against Kristina's branch containing the draft meting minutes.

    The PR is https://github.com/oasis-tcs/dps/pull/3

A clean copy can be seen at https://github.com/sparrell/dps/blob/meeting-minutes/MeetingMinutes/2025-04-22-meeting.md

    I made several changes:

    • created Meeting Minutes folder and moved minutes into that folder
    • restructured the beginning part to include details on who has/gained/lost/will-lose voting rights
      • this should be reviewed. the list doesn't match Kristina's numbers (eg 19 vs 20 voting members). I used the OASIS roster for my base
    • included more info on the participants (eg org, more than just voting/nonvoting) in the participant list. This should also be checked that I did correctly (again I used the OASIS roster as my base)

I believe all of the above is just administrivia and shouldn't be controversial. Once set up, it can be copied and easily updated each meeting (I started with the template I use as secretary of another TC).

However I did make one "real" change that might get lost in all the other changes so I'm calling out here. I changed

    • "Treating the specification and use cases as separate committee specifications was recommended."
      to
    • "Treating the specification and use cases as separate committee specifications was recommended and agreed to."

I believe we did reach consensus, but people should speak up if they disagree.
