Administration
R: I move to April 1, meeting minutes – https://groups.oasis-open.org/discussion/meeting-minutes-16#bm4a33f24d-a484-419a-afd3-33d50582f4e3

Promotion activities of the new version.
L: I suggest that we organize a webinar to announce the changes of the new version.
M: That would be a good idea, it would be a good idea to talk about these changes.
Y: (mentions the introduction of the metadata attribute)
R: A xliff 2.0 file or xliff 2.1 are still xliff 2.2. We added the possibility of having metadata at the root of the xliff file.
M: That is the kind of information that I would like to see if I was an outsider.
Y: I can put those changes together.
L: that is great, I will prepare the slides with the different topics to cover and I will share it with you to contribute. Yoshito, are you also in?
Y: Yes.
L: that is great news, thanks.
L: I was also wondering about the test-suite that was present in the previous version. Do you think that it would be useful to have it again for 2.2?
R: There were issues with those files. Either we write a new set of files or we work on a validator. I might not have time to do both. I can update it to support 2.2. (Rodolfo shows his tools and specially XLIFF filters and explain that Adobe, oxygen and capstain are using his code).
M: I think both the files and the validator are good, but I understand the time constraints.
R: If you want to take it. It is just my personal opinion.
Y: Where is it?
L: It is on the github repository https://github.com/oasis-tcs/xliff-xliff-22/tree/master/xliff-21/test-suite We can discuss this topic further in the next meeting. I will add it to the agenda.
Oasis standard procedure. https://www.oasis-open.org/policies-guidelines/tc-process-2017-05-26/#OASISstandard
L: we need three statements of use to initiate the process, one of them from an OASIS member organization. I have collected the statements of use of the last previous versions using a specific questionnaire, I could do something similar for this version.
R: We might have to wait for people to implement the version before taking this step. Knowing some development cycles, it might take some time.
L: Ok. We will revisit this soon.
