Folks, we need better examples for topics about conref. A lot of the examples are contrived, and that is something that we committed to address for DITA 2.0. I know we all can put our hands on conref examples without too much effort!

Below is a list of the conref examples:

    • Simple conref usage
    • Simple conkeyref image
    • Reusing a sequence of list items (conref range)
    • Reusing a sequence of elements of different types (conref range)
    • Reusing a range with @conkeyref (conref range with conkeyref)
    • Using @conaction to replace content (conref push)
    • Using @conaction to push content before another element (conref push)
    • Using @conaction to push content after another element (conref push)
    • Resolving conrefs to elements that contain cross references
    • Resolving conrefs to elements that contain cross references, with key scopes

Does anyone have local copies of the DITA Adoption TC white papers about conref range and conref push? Those white papers contain realistic examples.

Can folks volunteer to provide better examples?

    Kris
