A seasoned cybersecurity professional with over 25 years of experience, he holds a degree in Computer Engineering, an MBA, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Geopolitics and Conflict Globalization at the University of Salamanca.
He serves on the boards of several tech companies such CISO.es, international startups, and specialized investment funds, offering strategic guidance on cybersecurity. Alongside his advisory roles, he is a researcher and lecturer at the International University of La Rioja (UNIR).
Since 2014, he has worked as an independent expert for the European Union Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA) and the European Commission, overseeing security initiatives in critical infrastructure sectors such as transportation, energy, finance, and water. He also contributes to intelligence projects supporting law enforcement agencies.
His contributions to the field include the development of international cybersecurity standards, authoring technical publications, and serving as a reviewer for leading scientific journals. He is a member of the OASIS-Open technical committee and a frequent speaker at international cybersecurity conferences.
