Technical
XLIFF 2.2 public review.
Invitation to comment on XLIFF V2.2 CSD02- ends January 27th https://groups.oasis-open.org/discussion/invitation-to-comment-on-xliff-v22-csd02-ends-january-27th-1 .
R: The second review is online now. (Rodolfo shows the official files). We have not received any comment.
Support schemas in CSD02 https://groups.oasis-open.org/discussion/support-schemas-in-csd02 Rodolfo
R: In section the grammar files, in the support schemas section, we refer to some legacy files were not included. We can drop that section or include the third party files.
M: They would have to be updated. We cannot update those.
R: we submitted a zipped folder, and we did not include the legacy schema xsd that were shipped in the previous version of XLIFF.
M: At this point, we cannot include the legacy ones.
R: In that section, we are saying that we are including those. I suggest that we get rid of that section.
M: I agree.
L: I also agree.
M: I think that you cannot even include them.
R: This comes from old version, I forgot to delete it earlier.
L: We should vote on this.
R: I second.
L: Roll call: Do you agree on removing section C.2 from the XLIFF 2.2 Specification?
Yes: Rodolfo, Lucia, Mihai.
R: The motion passed unanimously. This means that we might have to do a third review.
L: I am not sure if that would be needed. We will have to check with Kelly, this might be categorized as editorial change. In any case, I think that we should wait until the end of the public review period to see if we get new comments.
R: I agree. By the way, I published the announcement on Linkedin, it got a lot of impressions, but we have not received any new comment yet. If you could spread the news, we might get some feedback.
M: I will do it.
R: those are the news I have for today. We might want to skip the next meeting.
L: As the public review will not be over I also think that we can skip the next meeting and resume our meetings in February.
All: we agree.
L: no new business, meeting adjourned.
