    • Bob Johnson said that Harald Stadlbauer will be presenting integrating DITA and iIRDS (INTELLIGENT INFORMATION REQUEST AND DELIVERY STANDARD) at the Boston DITA User Group meeting at noon EDT August 14. 
    3. Transition to new OASIS infrastructure: How is it going?
    • Some team members are not getting notifications from dita-comment. Action item for Kris to provide information about how to enable notifications from dita-comment. 
    4. Definition of index
    • Eliot discussed his feedback. Team members thought Eliot's response was thorough. Kris recommended this information should be turned over to the editors for adding to the indexing content.   
    5. E-mails to dita-comment
    • questions about the DITAVAL "passthrough" action (Chris Papademetrious, 20 July 2024)

    • Relevant portions of DITA 2.0 draft spec:
      • The committee discussed Eliot's proposed response to Chris Papademetrious's email dated 20 July 2024. 
        The data-specialization attribute is new to DITA 2.0.
         Grouping lets you specialize back to the nonspecialized attribute. You can use the same grouping syntax for any conditionalized attribute and you should get   the same results.
                        Eliot to hold off on providing feedback to Chris Papademetrious until we receive feedback from Robert Anderson's review.
